Aprender a Volar

Aprender a Volar [The Killer Barbies]

(Uh uuh uh uuh...)

Siento suave viento acariciándome
Y recorrer mi cuerpo hoy otra vez
Cuando las estrellas empiezan a salir
Y alumbran el cielo para mí

Nada es mejor que la sensación
Dejarse ir sin condición
Y cerrar los ojos sintiendo que
El mundo entero está bajo mis pies

Sólo quiero aprender a volar
Entre las estrellas, empiezan a brillar
Sólo quiero aprender a volar
Y cruzar el cielo dejándome llevar

Uuh yeeah

Sólo quiero aprender a volar
Entre las estrellas, empiezan a brillar
Sólo quiero aprender a volar
Y cruzar el cielo dejándome llevar

Uuh yeeah

Dejarse ir
Sin resistir
Sólo sentir
Dejarse ir
Sé, muy bien
Qué podrás

Sólo quiero aprender a volar
Entre las estrellas, empiezan a brillar
Sólo quiero aprender a volar
Y cruzar el cielo dejándome llevar

Uuh yeah

Wonderful Tonight

Wonderful Tonight [Eric Clapton]

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."

I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."

Aqualung

Aqualung [Jethro Tull]

Sitting on a park bench
Eyeing idle girls with bad intent.
Snot running down his nose
Greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes.
Aqualung my friend, don't you start away uneasy
Drying in the cold sun
Watching as the frilly panties run.
Aqualung my friend
Feeling like a dead duck
Spitting out pieces of his broken luck.
Aqualung my friend, don't you start away uneasy.

Sun streaking cold
An old man wandering lonely.
Taking time
The only way he knows.
Leg hurting bad,
As he bends to pick a dog-end
He goes down to the bog
And warms his feet.

Feeling alone
The army's up the road
Salvation a la mode and
A cup of tea.
Aqualung my friend
Don't start away uneasy
You poor old sod, you see, it's only me.

Do you still remember
December's foggy freeze?
When the ice that
Clings on to your beard was
Screaming agony.
And you snatch your rattling last breaths
With deep-sea-diver sounds,
And the flowers bloom like
Madness in the spring.

Sun streaming cold,
An old man wandering lonely
Taking time the only way he knows
Leg hurting bad
As he bends to pick a dog-end
he goes down to the bog and warms his feet

Ohohoho

Feeling alone
The army's up the road
Salvation a la mode and
A cup of tea.
Aqualung my friend
Don't start away uneasy
You poor old sod, you see, it's only me.

Papas y Olivas

Y recordad:
Cada papa con su correspondiente oliva"

Lily, Rosemary and The Jack of Hearts

Lily, Rosemary & The Jack of Hearts [Bob Dylan]

The festival was over, the boys were all plannin' for a fall,
The cabaret was quiet except for the drillin' in the wall.
The curfew had been lifted and the gamblin' wheel shut down,
Anyone with any sense had already left town.
He was standin' in the doorway lookin' like the Jack of Hearts.

He moved across the mirrored room, "Set it up for everyone," he said,
Then everyone commenced to do what they were doin' before he turned their heads.
Then he walked up to a stranger and he asked him with a grin,
"Could you kindly tell me, friend, what time the show begins?"
Then he moved into the corner, face down like the Jack of Hearts.

Backstage the girls were playin' five-card stud by the stairs,
Lily had two queens, she was hopin' for a third to match her pair.
Outside the streets were fillin' up, the window was open wide,
A gentle breeze was blowin', you could feel it from inside.
Lily called another bet and drew up the Jack of Hearts.

Big Jim was no one's fool, he owned the town's only diamond mine,
He made his usual entrance lookin' so dandy and so fine.
With his bodyguards and silver cane and every hair in place,
He took whatever he wanted to and he laid it all to waste.
But his bodyguards and silver cane were no match for the Jack of Hearts.

Rosemary combed her hair and took a carriage into town,
She slipped in through the side door lookin' like a queen without a crown.
She fluttered her false eyelashes and whispered in his ear,
"Sorry, darlin', that I'm late," but he didn't seem to hear.
He was starin' into space over at the Jack of Hearts.

"I know I've seen that face before," Big Jim was thinkin' to himself,
"Maybe down in Mexico or a picture up on somebody's shelf."
But then the crowd began to stamp their feet and the house lights did dim
And in the darkness of the room there was only Jim and him,
Starin' at the butterfly who just drew the Jack of Hearts.

Lily was a princess, she was fair-skinned and precious as a child,
She did whatever she had to do, she had that certain flash every time she smiled.
She'd come away from a broken home, had lots of strange affairs
With men in every walk of life which took her everywhere.
But she'd never met anyone quite like the Jack of Hearts.

The hangin' judge came in unnoticed and was being wined and dined,
The drillin' in the wall kept up but no one seemed to pay it any mind.
It was known all around that Lily had Jim's ring
And nothing would ever come between Lily and the king.
No, nothin' ever would except maybe the Jack of Hearts.

Rosemary started drinkin' hard and seein' her reflection in the knife,
She was tired of the attention, tired of playin' the role of Big Jim's wife.
She had done a lot of bad things, even once tried suicide,
Was lookin' to do just one good deed before she died.
She was gazin' to the future, riding on the Jack of Hearts.

Lily washed her face, took her dress off and buried it away.
"Has your luck run out?" she laughed at him, "Well, I guess you must
have known it would someday.
Be careful not to touch the wall, there's a brand-new coat of paint,
I'm glad to see you're still alive, you're lookin' like a saint."
Down the hallway footsteps were comin' for the Jack of Hearts.

The backstage manager was pacing all around by his chair.
"There's something funny going on," he said, "I can just feel it in the air."
He went to get the hangin' judge, but the hangin' judge was drunk,
As the leading actor hurried by in the costume of a monk.
There was no actor anywhere better than the Jack of Hearts.

Lily's arms were locked around the man that she dearly loved to touch,
She forgot all about the man she couldn't stand who hounded her so much.
"I've missed you so," she said to him, and he felt she was sincere,
But just beyond the door he felt jealousy and fear.
Just another night in the life of the Jack of Hearts.

No one knew the circumstance but they say that it happened pretty quick,
The door to the dressing room burst open and a cold revolver clicked.
And Big Jim was standin' there, ya couldn't say surprised,
Rosemary right beside him, steady in her eyes.
She was with Big Jim but she was leanin' to the Jack of Hearts.

Two doors down the boys finally made it through the wall
And cleaned out the bank safe, it's said that they got off with quite a haul.
In the darkness by the riverbed they waited on the ground
For one more member who had business back in town.
But they couldn't go no further without the Jack of Hearts.

The next day was hangin' day, the sky was overcast and black,
Big Jim lay covered up, killed by a penknife in the back.
And Rosemary on the gallows, she didn't even blink,
The hangin' judge was sober, he hadn't had a drink.
The only person on the scene missin' was the Jack of Hearts.

The cabaret was empty now, a sign said, "Closed for repair,"
Lily had already taken all of the dye out of her hair.
She was thinkin' 'bout her father, who she very rarely saw,
Thinkin' 'bout Rosemary and thinkin' about the law.
But, most of all she was thinkin' 'bout the Jack of Hearts.

Prisoner of Society

Prisoner of Society [The Living End]

Well we don't need no one to tell us what to do
Oh yes we're on our own and there's nothing you can do
So we don't need no one like you
To tell us what to do

We don't refer to the past when showing what we've done
The generation gap means the war is never won
The past is in your head
The future's in our hands

Cos I'm a brat
And I know everything
And I talk back
Cos I'm not listening
To anything you say

And if you count to three (one two three)
You'll see there's no emergency
You'll see I'm not the enemy
Just a prisoner of society

Well we don't need no one to tell us what to do
Oh yes we're on our own and there's nothing you can do
So we don't need no one like you
To tell us what to do

Cos I'm a brat
And I know everything
And I talk back
Cos I'm not listening

Otra Noche Sin Dormir

Otra Noche Sin Dormir [Barricada, Rosendo & Aurora Beltrán]

(Barricada)
Machacando la cabeza
Pa juntar cuatro palabras
El tiempo se me ha escapado
En el tren de madrugada

Se me llevó la botella
Se me llevó la guitarra
Que se iban de la mano
Con la última calada

Mientras tanto sigo aquí
Otra noche sin dormir

Mientras tanto sigo aquí
Otra noce sin dormir

(Rosendo)
A mí me busca la pasma
Por haber cantao a pelo
Y hacer que en plena mañana
Las nubes toquen el suelo

No me muerde la conciencia
Porque yo he nacido así
Bebo, fumo y desafino
Son maneras de vivir

Mientras tanto sigo aquí
Otra noche sin dormir

Mientras tanto sigo aquí
Otra noche sin dormir

(Aurora Beltrán)
Siempre ando despistada
Buscando el mejor momento
Pa decirte en la orejita
Lo mucho que te quiero

Pero me pongo más colorada
Que el demonio en el infierno
Se van pasando las horas
Y los colmillos los pierdo

Mientras tanto sigo aquí
Otra noche sin dormir
(Repetir 14 veces)

Free Bird

Free Bird [Lynyrd Skynyrd]

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be travelling on, now,
cause theres too many places Ive got to see.
But, if I stayed here with you, girl,
Things just couldnt be the same.
cause Im as free as a bird now,
And this bird you can not change.
Lord knows, I cant change.

Bye, bye, its been a sweet love.
Though this feeling I cant change.
But please dont take it badly,
cause lord knows Im to blame.
But, if I stayed here with you girl,
Things just couldnt be the same.
Cause Im as free as a bird now,
And this bird youll never change.
And this bird you can not change.
Lord knows, I cant change.
Lord help me, I cant change.

O Grito da Galera

O Grito da Galera [Bonde do Forró]

Eu toquei o meu berrante
Pra chamar a atenção
E no som da caminhonete
Vou ouvindo um batidão

Meu chapéu de aba larga
30x cor de carvão
Esconde o meu olhar morteiro

Carregado de paixão

De emoção e adrenalina
Abre logo essa porteira
To chegando na bagaça
Integrando a comitiva

Pois sozinho não tem graça

To saindo turbinado
Com tração nas quatro rodas
Eu sou um peão moderno

To por dentro eu to na moda

Vou rancar fogo da botina

Aumenta o som eu quero ouvir

O grito da galera
Hoje e dia de rodeio

Solte sua emoção
Aumente o som eu quero ouvir

O grito da galera
Sapateia e bate palma

Quebra tudo por paixão

Friend of the Devil

Friend of the Devil [Grateful Dead]

I lit out from reno, I was trailed by twenty hounds
Didnt get to sleep last night till the morning came around.

Set out runnin but I take my time
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

Ran into the devil, babe, he loaned me twenty bills
I spent the night in utah in a cave up in the hills.

Set out runnin but I take my time, a friend of the devil is a friend of mine,
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

I ran down to the levee but the devil caught me there
He took my twenty dollar bill and vanished in the air.

Set out runnin but I take my time
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

Got two reasons why I cry away each lonely night,
The first ones named sweet anne marie, and shes my hearts delight.
The second one is prison, babe, the sheriffs on my trail,
And if he catches up with me, Ill spend my life in jail.

Got a wife in chino, babe, and one in cherokee
The first one says shes got my child, but it dont look like me.

Set out runnin but I take my time,
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine,
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

Folsom Prison Blues

Folsom Prison Blues [Johnny Cash]

"Hello, I'm Johnny Cash"

I hear the train a comin'
It's rollin' 'round the bend,
And I ain't seen the sunshine,
Since, I don't know when,
I'm stuck in Folsom Prison,
And time keeps draggin' on,
But that train keeps a-rollin',
On down to San Antone.

When I was just a baby,
My Mama told me, "Son,
Always be a good boy,
Don't ever play with guns,"
But I shot a man in Reno,
Just to watch him die,
When I hear that whistle blowin',
I hang my head and cry.

I bet there's rich folks eatin',
In a fancy dining car,
They're probably drinkin' coffee,
And smokin' big cigars,
But I know I had it comin',
I know I can't be free,
But those people keep a-movin',
And that's what tortures me.

Well, if they freed me from this prison,
If that railroad train was mine,
I bet I'd move out over a little,
Farther down the line,
Far from Folsom Prison,
That's where I want to stay,
And I'd let that lonesome whistle,
Blow my Blues away.

My Back Pages

My Back Pages [The Byrds]

Crimson flames tied through my ears
Rollin' high and mighty traps
Pounced with fire on flaming roads
Using ideas as my maps
"We'll meet on edges, soon," said I
Proud 'neath heated brow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not I'd become my enemy
In the instant that I preach
My existence led by confusion boats
Mutiny from stern to bow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Yes, my guard stood hard when abstract threats
Too noble to neglect
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
Quite clear, no doubt, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

October Song

October Song [The Incredible String Band]

I'll sing you this October song,
Oh, there is no song before it.
The words and tune are none of my own,
for my joys and sorrows bore it.
Beside the sea
The brambly briars in the still of evening,
Birds fly out behind the sun,
and with them I'll leavng.
The fallen leaves that jewel the ground,
They know the art of dying,
And leave with joy their glad gold hearts,
In the scarlet shadows lying.
When hunger calls my footsteps home,
The morning follows after,
I swim the seas within my mind,
And the pine-trees laugh green laughter.
I sed to search for happiness,
And I used to follow pleasure,
But I found a door behind my mind,
And that's the greatest treasure.
For rulers like to lay down laws,
And rebels like to break them,
And the poor priests like to walk in chains,
And God likes to forsake the.
I met a man whose name was Time,
And he said, I must be goin,
But just how long that was,
I have no way of knowing.
Sometimes I want to murder time,
Sometimes when my heart's aching,
But mostly I just stroll along,
The path that he is taking.

Venus in Furs

Venus in Furs [The Velvet Underground]

Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather
Whiplash girlchild in the dark
Clubs and bells, your servant, dont forsake him
Strike, dear mistress, and cure his heart

Downy sins of streetlight fancies
Chase the costumes she shall wear
Ermine furs adorn the imperious
Severin, severin awaits you there

I am tired, I am weary
I could sleep for a thousand years
A thousand dreams that would awake me
Different colors made of tears

Kiss the boot of shiny, shiny leather
Shiny leather in the dark
Tongue of thongs, the belt that does await you
Strike, dear mistress, and cure his heart

Severin, severin, speak so slightly
Severin, down on your bended knee
Taste the whip, in love not given lightly
Taste the whip, now plead for me

I am tired, I am weary
I could sleep for a thousand years
A thousand dreams that would awake me
Different colors made of tears

Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather
Whiplash girlchild in the dark
Severin, your servant comes in bells, please dont forsake him
Strike, dear mistress, and cure his heart

Knockin' on Heaven's Door

Knockin' on Heaven's Door [Guns N' Roses]

Mama take this badge from me
I can't use it anymore
It's getting dark too dark to see
Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door

Mama put my guns in the ground
I can't shoot them anymore
That cold black cloud is comin' down
Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door

"I don't think I have to tell you
I think you know what time it is
We're going to do this four times
I sing one, then you sing one
And we have Tracy and Roberta here to help you
And I think you know the words"

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
"C'mon c'mon people you know what I like!"

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
"Gimme some reggae!!"

"We got one more time to go
Let's make this one reach the heavens"

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
"Make it loud!!!"

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door

"Thank you!!!! Yeah!!"

Quien Fuera

Quien Fuera [Silvio Rodríguez]

Estoy buscando una palabra
En el umbral de tu misterio
Quien fuera ali baba
Quien fuera el mitico simbad
Quien fuera un poderoso sortilegio
Quien fuera encantador.

Estoy buscando una escafandra
Al pie del mar de los delirios
Quien fuera jackes cousteau
Quien fuera nemo el capitan
Quien fuera el batiscafo de tu abismo
Quien fuera explorador.

Corazon, corazon obscuro
Corazon ,corazon con muros
Corazon que se esconde
Corazon que esta donde, corazon
Corazon en fuga herido de dudas de amor

Estoy buscando melodias
Para tener como llamarte
Quien fuera ruiseñor
Quien fuera lenon y mc artney
Sindo garay, violeta, chico barque
Quien fuera tu trovador

Corazon, corazon obscuro
Corazon,corazon con muros
Corazon que se esconde
Corazon que esta donde el corazon
Corazon en fuga herido de dudas de amor (corazon)
